Book a Buckingham Palace Tour

Buckingham Palace is open for tours during summer months.   The next Summer opening dates are July 21 to 30 September 2018. You can book your visit online with Buckingham Palace.

The Palace prefer that you use their very good audio guide system that they provide during the Summer Opening.  If you are visiting Buckingham Palace in 2018 we could arrange the timing to combine your visit with a royal walking tour of the area. Learn more about other royal residences, the royal family and their lives in London.  Alternatively consider combining your Buckingham Palace tour in the afternoon with a morning guided tour of close by Westminster Abbey. This makes a good addition to your own visit to the Palace and will ensure you make the most of your day in London.

Every year the Palace arranges a special exhibition to accompany the Summer Opening. In 2018 you can see Prince and Patron, an exhibition of works selected by the His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales from the Royal Collection.

You may recognise some rooms as they are often used as the setting for official photographs of the Royal Family at celebrations such as baptisms and weddings. These rooms are where the Queen and her guests gather on ceremonial occasions. A chance to buy some souvenirs or even stop for a cup of tea. You will exit the Palace through the gardens where Her Majesty hosts garden parties every year.

“You made our London experience all that it possibly could be. Thank you”

A tour of Buckingham Palace is a great chance to learn more about the life of Her Majesty and the monarch’s official London residence. In addition combining this with a private Westminster walking tour of another site in the area can enhance your visit.
