Book a Buckingham Palace Tour
Buckingham Palace is open for tours during summer months. This year, 2020, is the first year that the Gardens are fully open. A real treat. You can book your visit online with Buckingham Palace.
The Palace have a very good audio guide system that they provide during the Summer Opening. It is not possible to offer a private tour with a Guide. But if you are visiting Buckingham Palace in 2020 we could arrange the timing to combine your visit with a royal walking tour of the area. Learn more about other royal residences, the royal family and their lives in London. Alternatively consider combining your Buckingham Palace tour in the afternoon with a morning guided tour of close by Westminster Abbey. After the Abbey a walk through one of London’s Royal parks to the Palace ready for an afternoon visit.
The State Rooms contain furniture and artworks from the Royal Collection. Including elegant French porcelain, paintings and marble sculpture from Italy. You may recognise some rooms as they are often used as the setting for official photographs of the Royal Family at celebrations such as baptisms and weddings. These rooms are where the Queen and her guests gather on ceremonial occasions. A chance to buy some souvenirs or even stop for a cup of tea. You will exit the Palace through the gardens where Her Majesty hosts garden parties every year.
A tour of Buckingham Palace is a great chance to learn more about the life of Her Majesty and the monarch’s official London residence. In addition combining this with a private Westminster walking tour of another site in the area can enhance your visit. Email me to find out more. Check the Buckingham Palace website for information on opening times and ticket options.
